Welcome to the Crown at Bishops Cannings

Julie, Steve and the team are ready for your visit to the Crown Inn, which has a very warm welcome and cosy atmosphere. The Crown is sat in the shadow of St Marys church, just a short stroll from the Kennet & Avon canal. We are close to Avebury and the well known landmarks of Silbury Hill and the Long Barrow.There are also many country walks in the surrounding area. An excellent pub for families, walkers, riders and dogs - Everyone is welcome!

We have a spacious garden, and a small campsite with some amenities. We are able to cater for functions and have space for a marquee. We serve honest traditional pub food  (specials board changes weekly), alongside excellent Wadworths beers, and our Sunday Carvery is renowned so booking is advisable. It is always wise to leave room for one of our homemade desserts that are really Yummie!

We hold a quiz every Thursday starting around 9pm. We support Bishops Cannings Cricket Team and at the present time, we are looking to set up a local darts team and are willing to consider other events etc. for patrons.
